Traditional party games have survived for one reason, kids love them !

We always begin with pass the parcel, we have our own unique version of this game. Everyone gets something.

With older kids, 4-5 upwards, we play musical statues/bumps and do the hokey-cokey.

Younger ones enjoy the dingle-dangle scarecrow, three little monkeys, ring-a-ring-a-roses and the farmers in his den.

We vary the games to give the children what they want and always take the birthday child onto account. Sometimes they just want to play on the slide !
